Attorney Education

Individual members and each nominated attorney in a Member Firm must either attend Annual Conference or complete five hours annually of on-line or local Litigation Management training, provided through the Council.

The Council on Litigation Management strives to make available to its select membership a national curriculum of continuing legal education that features contemporary and pertinent programs on litigation management issues.  The CLM is pioneering courses and materials that will allow its Fellows and Members to maintain the high standards that resulted in initial selection.

Since our Members have been distinguished among their peers for adherence to standards of excellence in professional responsibility, the CLM has, and will continue to create challenging educational resources not only from a theoretical stance, but from a practical, day-to-day application as well.

The Council distributes innovative educational opportunities to its Member Attorneys and Member Firms through its partnership with TRT, Inc.  The partnership provides CLM Members substantial discounts on both CLM designated courses as well as all TRT on-line, telephone, and on site CLE seminars. To receive this discount and ensure compliance of the five hours per year of CLM-approved requirement, following the registration and selection of courses at www.trtcle.com, please type CLM in the “Enter Coupon Code” box and press “Apply Coupon Code” in the Checkout section.

If you are interested in serving on the Education Committee to develop future courses for the CLM, please contact Adam Potter at (212) 724-2345 or adam.potter@litmgmt.org.
